Tukia has won awards, been featured in film, and performed all around the country. The performance of the Nifo Oti is a part of Tuika's heritage as he hails from the island of Samoa.

Chief Tuika hails from the island of American Samoa. His prestigious career includes performances with over 30 years of experience and a lifetime devotion to perpetuating the Samoan culture.

Rich in tradition, the Samoan Fire Knife Dance is a unique and exciting attraction. Originally a weapon, today the fire knife is used as a dance implement. Three knives are used, one single and two doubles. When lit, they are skillfully twirled around the body, under the legs and thrown into the air. Samoan fighting movements are also included as well as fire eating.
